Building girls of “courage, confidence and character” is what Girl Scouting is all about. Last year more than 4,500 girls actively participated in troops throughout our communities – to “make the world a better place.”
Discover, lead and take action – Girl Scouts encourages girls to reach for their highest potential. In the 1920’s Juliette Low, the founder of Girl Scouts, sold her pearls to support this movement. Today, there are more than 4 million Girl Scouts in the United States.
Through the Juliette Low Leadership Society, we are working to reach those girls and help them think BIG! Our goal is to reach every girl, everywhere! This group will share the message of the positive influence that Girl Scouts makes in the life of a girl while garnering financial support for enhanced opportunities for our girls. In October this group will host a Fall Membership Tea and in the Spring there will be Formal Luncheon Program.
Be part of JLLS by sending your $250 membership to join. Please consider this commitment to girls in Oklahoma! Join by calling the Fund Development Department at 405-528-3535 or send an e-mail to Crystal Slater, Director of Fund Development/Major Gifts..
